Hiya I'm new to this group finally hoping to find people in the same situation, I've had loads of tests, lumbar MRI etc and saw my neurologist last week he said it was CFS/M.E but has now sent a letter to my gp saying it's probable cfs but they should refer me to a specialist clinic, however before I saw my neurologist, the gp gave me a fact sheet and referred me for cbt and physio, what I can't get my head around is why they can't just say it's cfs/me when they have tested for everything else! And to top it off they want me to go to a rheumatologist but I'm unsure why? Any help suggestions id be very great ful, I just need the "proof" to get support and work need to know!!

The specialist clinic can give a definitive diagnosis.
More importantly, they'll be able to assess what kind of treatment plan will be best for you.
