IMPORTANT

Iíve found a new MSM that for me at least, works as well as the one recommended in the above thread. The difference is that the new one I found is half the price! You can get it here - https://www.amazon.co.uk/Kala-Health-OptiMSM%C2%AE-Methylsulfonylmethane-Supplement/dp/B01D2YBD9W/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8

Do you still take it?
I get suspicious of every new 'product' I take.. like.. is it going to make me more ill...

Yes - 3 heaped teaspoons a day, and as explained in the post, my intention is to take it forever.

Thanks Roger. When I can get going properly on the other more expensive one that I bought and have used it up, this will be very useful.  thumbsup

Hi Roger

That is a very interesting video (and entertaining...DR Diane "Doneitall"....love it!).  Its incredible that so called "progress" has robbed us of this essential nutrient.  I have stopped taking everything (supplement wise) atm as i have my blood tests ordered by the specialist i saw on tuesday and i want as true a result as possible, and so i thought the best thing to do was let the inflammation run amok for a few days before the tests, especially as they are testing for inflammation among other things !!  However, i can really feel that i have stopped the MSM, my back is killing me, night and day and my body hurts all over, and that had got a lot better.  I am going to buy the Ancient Purity one to start on after the blood tests.  Thanks for sharing, really useful.

Glad you found it interesting, chill. I think stopping everything in advance of the blood tests makes good sense, as long as you remain wary of any chemical anti inflammatories that might get prescribed as a result!

oh they are already trying to get me to take diclofenac, which almost killed my Nan due to a stomach bleed and all sorts of other rubbish, i just nod and agree, take the prescription and never actually get the tablets!  Pain can only be controlled with pharmaceuticals is another thing that is "widely believed by the medical establishment". Mention Turmeric or MSM and my GP turns a funny colour, so i have given up trying!  The specialist i saw also just said in a sarcastic tone that "alternative practices" might think they can help, so i did not push it, as i wanted the tests that only she could order!

If the specialist says that again, suggest that he investigates the training that functional medicine doctors and naturopaths go through, in many cases additional to their conventional training. On the other hand, it's probably best to just keep shtum   smile
