Hi all - I've been suffering severe pelvic pain for a while. Its so painful I could cry. Saw a gynaecologist last year who did ultra sound and said nothing obvious and put it down as neurological. Didn't really get that so been to another gynaecologist whose doing an MRI but he says he knows patients with ME presenting the same symptons as mine

Unfortunately there are some conditions that are put down to neurological issues, though that doesn't make them any less painful. I have a friend who has interstitial cystitis which causes pelvic pain as well as bladder hypersensitivity. She also has fibromyalgia. However I know that she is also given some medication for it that really does help the pain.

It is good to hear that you are having it thoroughly investigated though before conclusions are drawn on the causes.
