This is not for me but I'm trying to help a friend. His ESA was stopped after his medical as inspite of his doctor signing him unfit for work, mental health issues/anxiety/panic attacks/suicidal tendencies/recurring TIAs.
I know your ESA is no longer paid whilst appealing but did I see somewhere where it says yoy can reapply for ESA  and tgereby at keast get the assessment rate or have I imagibed hat.

Hi Elizabeth.
Sorry your friend is having problems. ESA is not paid while the Mandatory Reconsideration is ongoing. Once it is complete, if unsuccessful he can go to appeal. At that stage he can ask for his ESA to be re-instated at the assessment rate until he gets a decision from the Tribunal.
